Hi! YAYAY double hooray!
3 cruel tests in slightly more than 24 hours! i'm emancipated. in the short run now.i'm thoroughly satisfied with my effort that i've put into these tests. yay! finally i can walk out of the LTs without making lack of revision as an excuse. i still feel i'm yet to unleash my full potential, hehe.
1 Corinthians chapter 2
6We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.
8None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"
10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment: 16"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
Impressed? God grants us wisdom to know Him, enabling man to have this ability to be impressed upon God's holiness and His vastness in beauty. Something we ought to treasure as it is our privilege to be able to know Him, His greatness. So through the Holy Spirit we are able to discern what is right and what is wrong, we are able to live a life that God pleases, coz we are able to understand God, albeit never entirely. thank God, i pray i won't be immune to the Holy Spirit. You know sometimes we get so used to sinning that we don't consider it to be sin? although it actually is. We completely ignore the Holy Spirit's soft prompting and continue in our wrong-doings. this is so dangerous when we aren't conscious of our own sins. Coz we have every liberty to live our own life as God's anger is shown against us by 'giving us over'-Romans 1 to our sins.
So i pray that we'll all be constantly be aware of our lives.
i was waiting for students after sch at Lot 1 Mac, sitting at the side when the outside is separated by a glass panel. Then 1 primary school student, with the aid of a straw, mercilessly spat his drink onto Ronald Macdonalds's frozen smiley face. What audacity! He did it right in front of my nose (i was sitting right beside Big O'Mac). Then later on a girl came over to hug the figure. i hope Ronald Mac comes alive in their dreams.
he's a primary school student, thats worrying.
Tomorrow is a dreadfully tiring day. Having lessons from 8am to 6pm with only a 1/2 hour break in between! I dunno, the teachers probably dunno the result is an awfully crammed timetable.
have a great day everybody
