Thank God!

Have arranged to meet a series of students for EBS this week. There were a number whom didn't turn up, but i thank God for those who did. Pray that God will continue to work in their lives, soften their hearts to the gospel.

Yesterday, it was amazing. I reached CCK Lot1 Mac at 3pm and was upset when i learned my students couldn't come because they had drama classes in school. So i went to Street E. The street E was so interesting. I met this Christian student who mentioned he won't ever attend YFC events again, i felt so sad when i heard that. I invited him for the Saturday's session on 'How do i know for sure there is a God?'. He said he will come. Pray that God will redirect him. I met this 2 muslim students who don't look like muslims. They indicated they are interested to find out about Christianity! Goodness, that is surprising! i mean, they meant it, because i did share with them a little, coz they needed to rush off. I'll be calling them to follow up to bring them the gospel. wow, i'm starting to think that maybe Muslims are more interested in finding out about the gospel than Chinese. its because i've shunned them everytime, and it remains advisable to do so. But who knows, they are itching to find out about our gospel! I met another Christian contact whom i've met previously before and challenged him.

After that, i went into Macdonalds, and saw the EBS students! they juz ended school, and they suggested doing EBS with them on the spot. haha.. so i did, and thank God, they were with another contact whom i'd met a day after i met them on the streets but didn't manage to share to him. So i did EBS with him also, and thank God they're a chatty bunch of people who are interested in the gospel. Pray that God may sustain their interest, not just the friendship.

Today- Kranji Step-Up prog. my group was loud and boisterous. shooting a lot of unpleasant, indecent sexual stuffs. But surprisingly they were attentive during the teaching and were responsive towards the activity which requires them to think and fill in a worksheet. They are rather smart little rascals, although cheeky and playful. I like them actually.

i'm very encouraged i received news today that a young Christian student gave to my project serve fund $10. It was her response made during last year end's retreat, when we were taught to learn to give in support of the work in the ministry. Because we are clear that we are giving 1st to the Lord, it is a service to God. Philippians 4:17. I do require support in form of prayers too, and trust that you are doing so. But also, i'm short of funds, so will like to plead that you give a portion to me, in support of the God's work. Thanks!

Vin
