thank God for a marvelous day!

I have this very cute EBS student. haha... i was sitting with some of my co-workers when my student walked in, and they were like 'so cute!'. haha.. then during the lesson, he told me somewhere got a lot of his classmates think he's cute, and he's so innocent and naive about the entire thing. haha.. so funny. thank God he's absorbing the teachings well.

I met my good o' buddy at night. thank God for this opportunity to catch up with him. I struggle not to be jealous, but i've learnt the lesson of self acceptance, especially when YGOS boss sternly instructed us to accept ourselves 1st before we even go into the step-up Kranji prog to teach students to accept themselves. My friend brought his O levels cert coz he was going for work interview and all i saw was 'A-one's except for a B which really doesn't steal any glory away from the cert. That wasn't all, his 2 pages full CCA record crammed in illustrous & colourful achievements. He's gonna be $40,000 richer by tomorrow. Anyway, he's retiring from the sport that he invested much of his youth in. Can't make a career out of sports alone.

Well, i owe him something important, i'm obligated to share with him that such success is temporal and blinding, so blinding that we think these will be lasting and we'll die a happy man. Oh man, oh Lord give me courage and humility. if he's my friend, i want him to know God.

He's too nice and i'm too afraid to put this friendship on the line. God, open this window of opportunity wider i pray. I pray, o Lord, use me as a mouthpiece to bring the gospel to the ones that are close to me.
