i'm so so v thankful today.

just came back from a mini evangelistic gathering & performance at my student's condo. The music group is Carpenters' Tools. They hail from the west.

thank God for bringing my student's friends along. although they almost didn't go into the function room coz they thought it was some fellowship. Out of the initial 6, only 2 went in at first, 4 went out of the condo, claiming that they wanted to bring more frens. At that moment, my student was quite disappointed coz he said they surely won't come back. Who would ever know that they not only returned but they grew in numbers too, they got another 2 frens along with them. wow. initially i found it hard to talk to them coz mainly i was overwhelmed by the numbers & the group was putting up preformances.

Thank God afterwards when there was a break i got to talk to them & they really opened up, it was very easy to share & talk to them.Thank God they managed to hear the gospel. my heart is so full of thanksgiving. Especially when my student has attempted many times to invite his friends for other events but they stood him up.

there were another 3 girls (his classmates) who thought that it was a christian fellowship too so they didn't go in, they self-exiled to poolside. only appeared when my student & I were clearing up. Pray that they will be able to come for the finale & continue to pray that the people who came will be convicted by the gospel message.

Carpenters' Tools are so so so v good!!! i'm so impressed by them. With only a guitar, they can whip out so many songs. Although only the vocalists & the guitarist are involved. They just sat down and sang, sang leisurely.
A bunch of musical talent they are, very young somemore, leader of the group is 24 yrs old, most of them are 20-21 yrs old.

There is this only male vocalist among 4, who qualifies to be every girls' prince charming, sang the chinese song tong hua. its an ang moh's rendition of it. haha.. so good. the vocalists really sound good. glad that i got the opportunity to interact with them. They were amused by the 'soft drinks' coz they call it 'soda' in the states, as well as being amused by how the soft drinks here are bottled. 'tall & thin' here compared to 'short & fat' in the states. and lots of other things. quite fun & v friendly group.
they're using their talents well.

i'm so excited i'm gonna invite my friends for the garages.

WELL DONE KEN. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU :)
