happy national day holiday!
yesterday was camp afterglow (1000-1500). Got a horrifying msg on my way to Aljunied MRT station where which was where i was supposedly to meet a student, when he msged me he won't go because he woke up late. after a series of frantic calls and messages to different parties, he assured me that he'll be there at 1030. Anyway, i was on my way to being horrendously late. (i was supposed to meet him at 940am, but regardless of circumstances i just barely managed to reach bus-stop outside EH at 10am on the dot. remorsefully i'd completely misjudged the time i will take to arrive at EH). Strolling along the corridor of EH, making my way gracefully to the Hall thinking that the programme won't start on time, i was totally startled the point i reached the entrance to the hall, boss was already speaking, everyone seems settled down, Carpenters' Tools (CTI) on standby, and the order of the day had already began. Felt kinda embarassed to walk in later than everyone else who had their eyes facing the direction of the entrance, which henceforth allows for an unobstructed view of the latecomers, even me who was only marginally late. A warm greeting & a reassuring hand gesture by a CTI member jolted me out of my brief moment of uneasiness.
latecoming is very very wrong, don't waste people's time. anyone who comes late should be locked out. that's a good way to ensure people are punctual huh. teaching myself a lesson.
The evangelistic skit by CTI was very good, i like it a lot. i hope more people will be touched by it when the garages and concert happens.
The testimonies shared by various people were encouaging. Its amazing how God has mobilized Christians to do evangelism, and new Christians to share the gospel. Reminded me of Zi Jun's sharing on Saturday, nothing is coincidental, God makes it possible. Hopefully it can serve as a reminder that we should be fearless in our work of evangelism as God is real and faithful.
