an absolutely irate principal of JJC- the infamous XYZ - as some hwachong ppl calls him, berated Christian students who stands firm on their decision not to participate in Yoga Mass Display.

i knew we were in for a beating when he barked at us unstoppably as we (those who didn't attend the Yoga Rehearsal today) hurried to meet him at the Grandstand. He was like singling out Jews, establishing his resemblence to Nazi, but actually he looks really like Mao Zedong, talks like Chee Soon Juan. i admitted i felt frightened at 1st, because he filtered out all those who are excused from Yoga due to medical reasons, & he wants to come down really hard on the Christians who are left -around 50 pple

But my fear soon diminished as
1. i had never encountered a person with such an extroadinary complex perspective of religion and all.
2. i remembered i had to be fearless- so i fished for my handphone & punched excerpts of his 30 mins shouting exercise
While shouting out loud that he's a Christian, using that 'you-better-shut-up-and-listen-you-freaking-christians' tone, he claims he doesn't go to church because he doesn't like people telling him what is wrong. He claims we're racist, as we can accept Wushu/ martial arts that orginates from Shaolin. Then he openly waged war against Christians & wants to challenge parents, our churches, our pastors who don't allow us to do Yoga. He suggests that we're not practising the right religion, correct Christianity, he said that he reads the bible in the office everyday, and through his own expounding of the passages, he claims that the chinese bible translation is inaccurate, so he's been working on translating the bible himself. - this is the part i like the most. He challenged us to be like him, being more open to explore different religions, able to accept them. He said that we do not want to do Yoga because we're afraid, worried, scared of the Gods that are involved in Yoga. He refuses to pray before meals because he believes the food is the result of his hard work. He harshly asserts that he'll expel Christians who attempt to tell others about our religion. He'll fight until the last minute, and challenges us to even bring him to court.
finally, he wants us not to feel angry with him, but learn to love him, forgive him with the love that comes from God, not hate him. He wants us to find out what a real Christian should be like through the bible.

thank God he didn't send us to concentration camps. He certainly did denigrate the name of God & Christ, Christianity. Woe be to him.

but i guess, from my point of view, his asinine justifications are so laughable. making a stupid fool of himself playing God. To him, God is blessed to have him as a believer, consider God 'lucky'. I control God, what God said is erroneous, i need to make some amendments to it, sign it, and publish it as the bible. laughable. so unintelligent. foolishness.

BUT there was this only teeny part i kinda had to accept after he set us free, that some people are just treating christianity as an excuse for not doing Yoga- coz he recognises some people who clearly have discipline problems. After he announced, after his verdict, that we can go off, this sluggish boy sitting beside me muttered '***k la.'
