Hello!
Well done Shao Ning! Dump art for now. haha.
today had maths mock test. went in with little hopes with lowest expectations. left brimming with confidence, thats why i love maths so much. Really made my day :)
Received my GP common test term 3 results today. failed Paper 2 (comprehension) like never before 16.5/50. Paper 1 (essay) is a surprise. all along i rely strongly on Paper 2 to score for GP, but for this time round Paper 1 did the job. surprised coz i only just wrote on 1 piece of paper with 2 supporting points + 1 counter argument, surprised my essay is near flawless- except for 1 grammatical error at the end. Probably coz i wrote about sports, and the ugliness of competition, i feel like i'm teaching myself a lesson.
so i came online to type out the essay, as demanded by the teacher.
As you can see, GP or any other language exams are so unpredictable. i pushed too hard for paper 2 and it turned out really bad. i allowed my pen to flow freely for paper 1 and it is good. this is crazy.
So today had its share of ups and downs.
i tried my best for chemistry organic free-response test to be completed at home (yesterday). Thought i will do well. in the end, i failed horribly. i was kiasu enough to attempt both EITHER & OR questions. In the end both scores were so bad choosing whichever i still fail. Why can't i score for Chemistry. Blame it on my genes, must be nature, nurturing is useless here.
this is by no means any indicator of my progress in my revision. i shouldnt have come to this blog, wasted 15 mins. oops. haha.
US Open arrival is timely, more distractions. Andre Agassi's retires at Flushing Meadows, where his career began. i'm feeling sad already.
all the best guys.
