Hi! i've completed a substantial amount of work before coming online.

Ya man, i agree with Shao Ning, we should learn to be mature. Especially those who need some counselling please turn yourself in, to avoid obsessive violence. haha... ok, me included. Poor Wei Yan. your chickens tend to run wild sometimes.

Congratulations LiangFa, dunno whether you'll ever see this. Hope the next big thing will be your wedding. Oops. ha.. May your love for God abound & seek God's righteousness and holiness. :)

yay, i've managed to memorize Gal 2:20. Let me type it out.

'i have been crucified with Christ and i no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life i live in the body, i live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me'

yay, i havent stepped into town for ages, had lots of fun & laughter with some bro & sis :) let fellowship be about God ya.

ha Zack you're amusing. pray for you coz your prelims are just 2 weeks away!
pray for me too, i've got chem test & GP common test on Wednesday, Econs essay test on Thursday, how i abhor back-to-back tests.

-be more self-evaluative, reflective
-self consciousness, openness to air comments cautiously
-ask lots of questions from the bible

all these to sharpen my thinking. pray for me.

Hi! just to start off by saying i'm immensely disappointed about my math, working hard is the order of revision, time is slipping off my hands, so i've taken a proactive approach in my revision and still perservering.

For the past 45 mins, i've done some mindless internet surfing. I frequent 3 blogs almost whenever i'm free online. Routinely i visit Shao Ning's blog, today i went further to visit fellow Philippino Zheng Wei's blog from De Zhang's page.
So i spent 20 mins reading his-story for the past 2 months (didn't have the stamina to go 3 months back), i'm impressed & kinda inspired. Zack! Quite a healthy lifestyle you have there ya! Soccer, basketball, swimming, running 2.4s, pull-ups are things you're doing everyday?! wow

WHICH reminded me of how slack i've been. I've made an effort yesterday! After clinching gold for NAPFA exactly 4months 4days ago, i'd hadn't went for a run. Yesterday was tough, to put aside my laziness. :P yay!

You know, if i can plot a frequency graph of how frequent i run since the start of last year, it'll turn out to be a continuous uniform distribution?? you know like 'run 3 times, rest 4 months', 'run 3 times, rest 3 months'. Horrible. but thank God i'm mentally tough, so even though fitness have deproved but still able to run at a fast speed even as it means a lot more taxing on the body & mind to push through.

Likewise, the 2nd last time i went swimming was in Sec 2 with DZ, Hsiao Ling & Geok.
i've hardly done pull-ups these 2 years so...

Oh ya, Zack! i got PES B for classification too! Satisfied, at least i won't be the better ones around. So funny, i was so cold in the place and the doctor kept saying don't move. Invariably, i was shivering. haha, then he put this weird smelling blanket on me & say relax while they clipped some instruments on me. i think its measure the heart rate, anyway i needed to repeat that twice, maybe i've got palpitations? ha aaha

aiyah. Why am i writing down these things? i don't think i'm going to do anything about it.
I've got more important things to attend to: studies!

feeling so productive lately. study, revise.

yesterday had the last chemistry practical lesson. was appalled by classmates' childishness. For the past few months, they had found enjoyment in squirting distilled water across benches, not stopping until one is half soaked. Then had an uninvited guest in the form of a hovering black flying creature which sent classmates scrambling out of the class. *shrugs* i wasn't amused.

had consultation with Econs teacher last week. Recognisably, the vernacular made me feel at ease talking to her, something i haven't felt for quite some time. I'm so assured to know that someone empathise with me in the situation and environment i'm in.

There's this JJ teacher who's extremely nice. i thank God. i fell asleep today on the bus, the teacher who rode on the same bus as me, walked towards me to wake me up before the bus-stop to wait for another bus . 2nd time he has done this, which confirmed what i thought of him. From his looks, he's really pleasant, those people who wear a smile that isn't veneering, and he will usually wait silently by the side, giving leeway to students to board the bus before him, even when the buses are packed to the door. Most gentlemanly behaviour i've seen here, become a scarcity. hope he's a Christian. No pride, no air of haught-iness.

sorry Eunice i forsaken you today.

i really like this song we sang during mission fellowship on Friday night. i've forgotten the tune after i sang it. But the lyrics are meaningful and endearing. I scribbled the lyrics on the handout & accidentally swopped it away. nevermind.
And i affectionately remembered my previous mission trip to Malacca last December. The lovely kids i got to interact with.

sorry Eunice for pissing you off last week. Keep your eyes clean k. how hard is it to co-exist with girls.
thanks for wanting to study with me anyway.

I'm so sinful. my latest discovery of how sinful i am: covetousness

covetousness is this commandmant that i had totally ignored in the 10 commandments, so hitherto i've been living with 9 commandments.

How much time is spent pondering about the 'what if', 'had i', 'i could have done so' ...
when i look at counterparts who are living out my childhood dream- don't bother asking, only a couple will know. The vicarious me can be quite compelling.

Matthew 6: 25-34
25"I tell you, do not worry. Don't worry about your life and what you will eat or drink. And don't worry about your body and what you will wear. Isn't there more to life than eating? Aren't there more important things for the body than clothes?
26"Look at the birds of the air. They don't plant or gather crops. They don't put away crops in storerooms. But your Father who is in heaven feeds them. Aren't you worth much more than they are?
27"Can you add even one hour to your life by worrying?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the wild flowers grow. They don't work or make clothing. 29But here is what I tell you. Not even Solomon in all of his glory was dressed like one of those flowers.
30"If that is how God dresses the wild grass, won't he dress you even better? After all, the grass is here only today. Tomorrow it is thrown into the fire. Your faith is so small!
31"So don't worry. Don't say, 'What will we eat?' Or, 'What will we drink?' Or, 'What will we wear?' 32People who are ungodly run after all of those things. Your Father who is in heaven knows that you need them.
33"But put God's kingdom first. Do what he wants you to do. Then all of those things will also be given to you.
34"So don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

this passage was shared during prayer mtg JJ today. In 2 weeks' time there'll be Parent- Teacher Mtg. Just praying that i'll be assured, my parents will be assured, that i'm getting down some serious studying. HEY! I AM!

Zidane is not a Pai Kia. Anyway, i like Pai Kia-s better than Pretend King-s.

Exuberance. I'M SO HAPPY, jubilant... YEAH

1. French soccer team, against all odds, eliminated fancied teams to get into the final of World Cup.

2. My favourite tennis player, a French too, held her nerve to triumph over Miss Sharapova, well poised for a mouth watering final on Saturday.

I'm so excited now i don't think i can sleep.
But in as many times in this week, i'm going to bed with all smiles.

The school graciously allow us to report to work at 10am on Monday. Fearing zombish students and parents who might cause an accident when driving their child to school.

I'm more than just happy :)

Q. Going back to the grunting, do you think you're louder now than you ever were before or not?
MARIA SHARAPOVA: What newspaper are you from?
Q. From the Daily Mail.
MARIA SHARAPOVA: Oh, thought it was The Sun.
Q. It was mentioned by your opponent. Do you think you're louder or not?
MARIA SHARAPOVA: Are your partners in crime like on your radio right now asking you to ask this question (laughter)?
You know what, it's such a pointless question. You know, I always have the same answer to this question. I've done this ever since I started playing tennis, and I'm not gonna change. This question only comes up at Wimbledon where you guys have all your The Suns and the Daily Mails and all that.

haha. she's annoyed by the pestering press.

Wimbledon: everything is sizing up well. was rather unhappy they didnt show my favourite ladies' singles player on court just now. Now the top 4 seeds have filled up their slated spots in the semis. I can't wait.
The broadcasters made a horrifiv blunders just now.

Somehow i think Italy will win the World Cup. But all 4 teams are very good. i don't know, who knows? i can't wait too.

And i'm finally getting down to some serious studying. haha.. after an outcome of you know what. Thank God for my classmate, who is so helpful.

had such a great time basking in the sporting world over the weekends.
the World Cup matches can be eloquently abbreviated by P-K

Penalty Kicks: was watching the England v Portugal match with some friends. We went beserk when it was down to penalty kicks, cheering in the midst of the stunned silent small crowd mourning England's departure who, throughout the match was unnecessarily raucous and boisterous. England furthered their embarassing record of going down in penalties.

Pai Kia: Who else? but the promising English chap by the name of Wayne Rooney, who has earned the dubious honour of being involved in the equivalent of catfights on the almost every stage he has played on. EPL, Champions' League, now the World Cup- correct me if i'm wrong. His fiery temperament has made him an Ang Moh Ah Beng.

Phai Ka: Now, i'm quite faithful to watching the beautiful game, despite problems with difficulties, i stayed up. Although i can't jump up in celebration of a goal scored on Wednesday.

Was so sad Agassi was leaving Wimbledon that i cried for a couple of minutes. He's a true sportsman, gentleman who has given so much to the game. i grew up watching him play, now i can't bear to see him go, coz he's so likeable and respectable. Few more months till his official retirement.
